Crusader Forge Street Fighter, Titanium Frame-Lock Flipper, Chisel Ground Tanto (SOLD)

Crusader Forge Custom Knives are designed for extreme and hard use. All Crusader Forge knives are 100% custom handcrafted by master bladesmith and designer, Maciej Szczerbiak.  They are 100% made in U.S.A. from domestic steel and materials.  His blade material is Triple Tempered CPM S30V Stainless Steel with an HRC of 59-60.  Each Crusader Forge knife handle is custom fabricated.   They are custom textured to ensure positive hold, regardless of your grip configuration.  The handles are fastened to the knife using Stainless Steel Fasteners with Torx ™ T25 drive for maximum strength.  Each knife design is prototyped and function tested against various materials such as wood, rope, muscle, bone, sheet metal and anything else Maciej may have left in the shop that has reached the end of its useful life.  Edge holding characteristics, transverse toughness and cutting ability are all evaluated prior to finalizing a knife design.

Brand New and direct from Crusader Forge is Maciej's "Street Fighter" frame-lock flipper folder model.  The Street Fighters are hard to come by.  Maciej typically only does a run of these once a year.  We are fortunate to have just received three (3) of them.   These Street Fighters feature a hand-sculpted full titanium frame, and CPM S30V blade.  The blade is chisel ground, and done in a Tanto shape - hair-splitting sharp!  It is a flipper running on bearings, that flips effortlessly and fast, locking with a clunk.  With such a big blade and bearings, you need little or no wrist action.  If you flip it too hard during the break-in period, you might lock the blade open so tight that you could have a difficult time releasing it.  If that were to happen, call us or Crusader Forge for the trick to releasing the blade.  The frame, clip and blade finishes are all done in Maciej's signature Phantom Finish.  All three (3) of the knives we have available are essentially the same, except for the fact that no two Phantom Finishes are the same.  So each one has different finish patterns, making each one unique.  They are all very cool looking, but if you have a preference, look at the picture and let us know when you place your order.  It's first come, first served.  The frame-lock holds the blade open rock solid - no movement whatsoever.  The blade is 0.250" thick, and the grinds are perfect.  Maciej ships his knives with some oil still on them.  You may see some discoloration on the blades and / or frames - that's the oil, which can be wiped off - we've left it on in the pictures.  The knife comes in a Crusader Forge box, and includes a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Maciej.
