Ken Erickson is a knifemaker from Waupaca, WI.  He has been making knives since 2006.  He specializes in traditional knife patterns, like this 3-blade Stockman slip-joint folder.  Ken is known for his outstanding fit and finish.  His knives are in demand and highly coveted by collectors.  You can tell he is passionate about his work from just speaking with him.  He's also an approachable and friendly guy.  I purchased this knife from Ken a number of years ago at the Badger Custom Knife Show in Janesville, WI.  It has been stored in my safe since.

This 3-blade Stockman slip-joint folder is a great piece from Ken.  His multi-blade knives are always a great find for collectors.  Ken's grinds are clean and symmetrical.  His tolerances are outstanding!  The main blade is a clip point.  The other two (2) smaller blades are a Sheepsfoot and a Pen blade.  All the blades, as well as the springs are CPM-154 stainless steel.  The liners are integral to the bolsters.  The liners are heat treated and tempered 416 stainless steel.  The bolsters, pins and oval shield are also 416 stainless.  The handle scales are two-tone G10 - greenish grey and blackish.  All the blades have half stops, lock up tight with no play, and the blade seating of each is spot-on.  Nice large nail nicks on the smaller blades, and nicely cut long pull on the main blade.  Nice "walk-and-talk".  Since it is previously owned (by me), I will call it excellent to near mint condition.  Comes in a padded zippered case.
