Kevin Hoffman KLH Large Friction Folder with Finger Guard (SOLD)
This Kevin Hoffman large friction folder with finger guard is brand new and
direct from Kevin's shop in Savannah, GA. The handle is brown spice dymondwood, with a highly figured pattern. The blade is made from
ATS-34
stainless steel, beautifully satin finished. Kevin's grinds are
outstanding. The pivot screw and pins are all stainless steel. There is a red linen micarta butt spacer with Kevin's "KLH - GA" maker's mark engraved in it. He has also accented both sides of the rear of the handle with a mosaic pin. The
blade opens smoothly - use the finger guard to get it started. The
blade has just the right amount of friction tension when opening. Kevin
sets them snug, although the tension is adjustable with the pivot
screw. Once fully opened, tucking your index finger under the guard helps keep it opened.
When the blade is closed, it sits nicely centered between the handle.
Kevin's fit and finish are a testament to has art background and
attention to detail. Comes in one of Kevin's signature denim pouches. This is an awesome piece!
