Kevin calls his axe the "Twenty Second Century Viking Hatchet". It is brand new and
direct from Kevin's shop in Savannah, GA. This is one awesome piece - beautiful and functional. The sandblasted stainless steel blade is made from ATS-34, and is 0.25" thick. The handle is 0.54" thick and made from Carbon Fiber and Linen Micarta, with blue anodized titanium and stainless steel fittings. The custom
made fitted thick leather sheath is made by Kevin, and fits over the head of the hatchet with two (2) heavy duty snaps to securely hold it in place. Kevin's "KLH" and knife logo, and outline of the state of Georgia appear on one
side
of the axe head. His initials are also stamped on the sheath. This is a great piece that is perfect for taking out in the backwoods on a camping trip. And it would fit just as nicely in any collection.
