Luke Swenson has been making knives for over 9 years.  He has truly taken his knifemaking skills to the next level.  He has become a master in his own right at making both slip-joint and lock-back folders.  This knife is new from Luke at Blade Show 2022.

This is Luke's 2-blade Saddlehorn Trapper, slip-joint folding knife.  It features a Clip Point blade and a Spey blade, both made from CPM 154.  The scales are presentation grade, gnarly fossil mammoth, with a Federal shield on the presentation side.  The springs are CPM 154.  The bolster is 416 stainless steel and is integral to the liners.  The pins are also 416 stainless.  The outer liners have been milled relieved and jeweled, and the center liner has also been jeweled.  Both blades have deep, well defined nail nicks, with smooth pulls.  The blades lock up tight with no play, and the blade seating is perfectly centered between their respective liners.  And both blades have half stops.  Notice in the last photo how tight Luke's tolerances are.  The spine of the handle looks like a solid piece of steel, and the transition from blade spine to spring is nearly seamless.  Nice walk and talk.  Comes in a padded zippered "Swenson Knives" case.  This knife is NEW from Luke at 2024 Blade Show Texas.
