This beautiful custom Button Lock folder was made by Scott Sawby and Steve Mullin, Sawby-Mullin, then of Samuels, Idaho.  I'm guessing that since Scott sold his share of the business to Steve back in 1983 that this knife dates to some time prior to Scott venturing out on his own.  The Button Lock utilizes the same locking mechanism as a lock back folder.  Depressing the button raises the locking bar with a cam action in the button mechanism, thereby releasing the blade in order to close it.  To open the blade, a nail nick is utilized.  The blade steel is highly polished ATS-34, and the front and rear bolsters are 416 stainless steel.  The handle is an exotic wood with beautiful grain lines - perhaps cocobolo?  The front and rear bolsters are dovetailed.  The liners are beautifully fileworked around the entire knife.  This knife is rock solid.  It locks up tight with absolutely no blade play, and the blade is perfectly seated between the liners when closed.  It is in excellent condition.  There are some fine surface lines on the bolster from storage and handling, and you can barely make out some fine lines on the blade also as a result of handling and storage.
