Tyler Turner BULLDOG Prototype, European Red Stag Scales

Tyler Turner is a part-time knifemaker from Hopkins, MO.  He is a full-time farmer and family man.  He makes hand-ground folders and fixed blade knives.  He strives to be creative and innovative with his designs. He uses only the best materials.  His attention to detail is impeccable.

This is Tyler's BULLDOG Prototype.  The knife is not marked prototype, but this has been confirmed by Tyler and you are welcome to contact him to confirm this, as well.  This knife was built in 2019 and has been a safe queen since new.  It is the first (and only) Bulldog Tyler has built to-date.  This is a big knife, true to the original Case pattern.  It features a CPM-154 stainless steel blade, and stunning European Red Stag scales.  They are well-matched, with great color and depth.  The front and rear bolsters, Dog Bone Shield, pins and liners are also stainless steel.  This slip-joint knife does not have a half-stop.  Ample nail nick for a firm, smooth pull.  The blade locks up tight with no blade play, and the blade seating is perfectly centered.  The knife was previously owned and has been stored since new.  Never carried, used or sharpened.  It has only been fondled and admired.  Near mint, only because it was previously owned, and I can't find anything of note.  Tyler will not be building many (if any) more Bulldogs.  Comes in a padded, zippered case.

Condition:  Previously owned.  Excellent.
