Ben Voss Custom Fixed Blade Hunting Knife, Buffalo Horn Handle (SOLD)
This drop point fixed blade hunting knife from Ben Voss is in almost
perfect
condition. It is from a private collection. It does not show any signs of use or storage. The only sign of its age are a couple of tiny spots in the crevices where the blade ricasso meets the guard, and under the guard (all visible in the pictures). The blade is marked "BEN VOSS" on one side of the ricasso, and "001-440C" on the other side. Clearly the blade steel is 440C stainless, highly mirror polished. As for the 001, we are not sure if this is his first knife or the first knife of this design, or the first knife / model to use 440C, or perhaps something else - but its the first of something for Ben. The handle is 2
pieces of beautifully matched smooth buffalo horn scales with nickel silver pins, and a nickel silver lined thong hole for your favorite
lanyard. Full tang construction and red liners accenting the buffalo horn, round out this nice little package. It feels comfortable and secure in-hand, just itching to be used. There is
no sheath. It will be shipped in a padded zippered case.
