Ben Voss Large Buffalo Horn Fighter, Custom Fixed Blade Knife (SOLD)
This large fixed blade Fighter from Ben Voss is in almost
perfect
condition. It is from a private collection. It does not show any signs of use. The blade is marked "BEN VOSS" on one side, along with "Davenport Iowa". This knife was obviously made when Ben resided in IA. He now resides in Illinois. The 1/4" thick blade steel is most likely ATS-34 or 440C, with a hand rubbed satin finish. The handle is beautifully matched scales of buffalo horn, pinned in four (4) places with nickel silver pins. The bolster is nickel silver, as well, and has some very minor marks from storage. Full tang construction and red liners accenting the horn scales, round out this really nice package. It feels comfortable and secure in-hand. Included with the knife is a hanging leather belt sheath, stamped "BEN VOSS" and "1989".
