Bob Loveless Large Stag Skinner Knife, Double Nude, Riverside Police Dept. Top Gun 1987, Leather Sheath (SOLD)

This is a very rare, large Bob Loveless Skinner, with the Riverside, California Double Nude logo.  Bob would make one of these knives every year and gift it to a special person.  In the case of this knife, and as etched on the ricasso, it was a gift to a Riverside (CA) Police Officer whom Bob would target practiced with.  Bob etched on the blade "R.P.D. TOP GUN 1987", the R.P.D. being the Riverside Police Department.  The handle is two well-matched Sambar Stag scales.  Neither the knife or sheath are numbered.  The sheath does have the Loveless stamp on the front side near the top.  The knife and sheath are in near mint condition.  Call it "near" because it was previously owned, and other than a few micro scratches on the bolster from sheath insertion / removal, I cannot find anything else to callout.  A really nice, special piece.  The knife has a full tapered tang, which Bob was known for and popularized, with red liners.  There is a countersunk, brass lined lanyard hole.
