David Lisch, M.S. Feather Damascus Bowie, Sambar Stag, Rowe Leather Sheath (SOLD)

This Feather Damascus Bowie by David Lisch, M.S. was just acquired last month.  It came directly from David's shop in Seattle, WA.  David's work is in high demand, and difficult to locate in the secondary market.  This knife is a great example of what he is known for - Damascus.  The feather-pattern Damascus blade is forged from 15N20 and 1080 carbon steels.  The S-Guard, Spacer, and Carved Pommel are all fire-etched wrought iron.  There is a stippled bronze spacer and finial.  The handle is an outstanding piece of Sambar Stag, with amazing color, grain and texture.  The knife features David's own Interlock Construction.  His mark of "D Lisch MS" appears in script on the spine of the blade.  Accompanying the knife is a frog button leather sheath with a basket weave inlay, made by Kenny Rowe of Rowe's Leather in Hope, AR.  This is a great piece from David.  It absolutely melts in your hand.  The fit and finish, attention to detail, construction, and balance are superb.  Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.  Don't pass this one up - it won't be around for too long.
