Dervish Knives "Comanche" Midtech Variant 1, Stabilized Charcoal Dyed Birch Scales (SOLD)

John Gonzalez is the creative maker behind Dervish Knives, and is best known for his modern interpretation of classic designs.  With a degree in graphic design and illustration, and a long-standing passion for knives and swords,  John’s unique perspective yields knives with clean lines and distinct visual beauty.  The Comanche Midtech is no different; this is classic Dervish at its best.  Designed to be a jack of all trades, the Comanche is both incredibly beautiful and robust; capable of handling daily knife use and even heavier than usual EDC scenarios.  It's a great size, comfortable in most hands, and functions flawlessly.

The Comanche model was born out of the desire to create a folder that packed in lots of attitude and aggressive utility into a 3 inch blade.  One of the most sought-after Dervish customs, this mid-tech version is 100% made in the USA by two dedicated and passionate craftsmen.  Very limited quantities in this batch—when they’re gone, they’re gone.  And having just been released, these went fast, fast!

This knife, with the stabilized charcoal dyed Birch scales and S90V blade with stonewashed bevels and satin flats, was dubbed Variant "1".  The blade locks solidly in place, and is centered between the liners.  This knife is new from the maker.  Included are the custom Dervish Velcro pouch with Velcro patch, Certificate of Authenticity, and "JG" signed business card.  This knife is legal in most areas of the U.S., without sacrificing utility and attitude.  This would make a great EDC.
