Dwaine Carrillo PROTOTYPE, No. 0, Button-Lock Cobra M4 Carbon Fiber, OD Green G10 (SOLD)

Attention Dwaine Carrillo collectors.  Dwaine is working on a special limited number run of these COBRA M4 folders, with the presentation side having a Carbon Fiber bolster, and an OD Green scale.  Dwaine tells me he plans on making only six (6) of these knives done in this configuration - there will be no more - and this one is the PROTOTYPE, with the number "0".  Both markings appear on the backbar.  This knife is Brand New, just received directly from Dwaine.  The knife features his NEW UBOLT button-lock mechanism.  Dwaine has discontinued his frame-lock folders in favor of this new button-lock design.  Dwaine feels that this new lock will hold up better, and eliminate the "lock stick" that sometimes occurs with frame-locks, and tends to get worse over time as the lock wears.  The button-lock is a very secure lock, and we think it adds a "cool" factor to his folders.  The blade is two-tone CPM 154 steel - the flat is satin finished and the blade appears tumbled.  The pocket clip is blue anodized, with a awesome waved pattern.  This knife also features an over-sized pivot, satin finished titanium frame, and notched thumb-rest.  It has rock solid lockup, and excellent blade-seating.  This is a heavy duty folder, true to Dwaine's style.  As with all the knives that come direct from Dwaine's shop in Oklahoma City, it comes in a Pelican hard case.
