Ernie Emerson Custom Bolstered "RENDEVOUS", Rag Micarta PROTOTYPE, 2017 Blade Show Lottery (SOLD)

This Ernie Emerson Custom, Bolstered, "Rendevous" PROTOTYPE features a hand-ground Saber-shaped, satin finished blade, bead blasted titanium bolsters and liners, and titanium stand-offs.  Ernie did the handle scales in Rag Micarta, that he made in-house.  Rag Micarta is no longer made, so Ernie decided to make it himself.  Rag Micarta is made from rags and phenolic resin.  Ernie stated that it is a difficult and time consuming process, but he did it on this knife, and the results are spectacular.  The depth and colors of the scales are beautiful.  The pocket clip is stainless and set for tip up carry.  It also has Ernie's "Wave" feature, a thumbdisc, and sports the Emerson Specwar Knives logo.  The knife has a firm detent, and makes a slight click when the knife opens.  It comes direct from the Emerson Lottery at the 2017 Blade Show.  The lock-up is rock solid, and the blade is perfectly seated in the handle.  It is in Brand New, Mint Condition.  Comes in the original Emerson box.  AND, I will include the pictured deck of Emerson playing cards, with the Ace of Clubs signed by the man himself.  Credit for the first picture goes to Mitchell Cohen of Prairie Digital Photography.
