Luke Swenson PROTOTYPE Hawkbill Slip-Joint Folding Knife (SOLD)

Luke Swenson has been making knives for over 9 years.  He has truly taken his knifemaking skills to the next level.  He has become a master in his own right at making both slip-joint and lock-back folders.

Luke calls this outstanding slip-joint folder his Hawkbill model.  It is marked PROTOTYPE on the inside of the liner.  It features a hand rubbed, satin finished CPM 154 stainless steel blade, Vintage Blue Line Micarta scales, 416 stainless steel bolster and pins, carbon fiber bombshell shield, and 410 stainless steel liners.  The backspring is CPM 154.  This knife is new from Luke at the 2024 KYCKS.  The blade has a large, deep cut, comfortable nail nick, with a firm, smooth pull.  It can also be easily opened by pinching the blade.  The blade locks up tight with no play, and the blade seating is perfectly centered.  The blade also has a half stop.  Nice walk and talk.  Comes in a padded zippered Swenson Knives case.
