Japanese knifemaker Masao Takahashi was known for his super clean work and mirror polished blades.  He was a true student of Bob Loveless' style of knives.  Sadly, Masao passed away in February of 2013.  His knives are highly coveted by collectors, and have become increasingly more difficult to find in the secondary market.

This Banana Skinner features a mirror polished blade of ATS-34, with a tapered tang.  The Banana Skinner was a Bob Loveless pattern.  The handle scales are two (2) beautifully matched natural stag scales.  There is no guard.  However the contour of the stag and bolster give it a very comfortable and secure feeling in-hand.  The bolster and oversized pins appear to be polished nickel silver.  Masao has included a lined lanyard hole, ready for a lanyard of your choosing.  The knife is in previously owned, near mint condition.  It has never been used, carried or sharpened.  Comes with a leather pouch-type belt sheath with a swivel style clip, also referred to as a "swinger" sheath, for your belt loop or backpack, presumably also made by Masao.
