Medford Knife and Tool THE GENERAL Vulcanized D2 Blade, Striped Flamed Frame (SOLD)
The Medford The General, frame-lock folder, was designed as an homage to a Marine Brigadier General. The knife affords the user a rugged design, that is both practical and ergonomic. With its big bellied blade, ample thumb groove and aggressive piercing point, The General is a no nonsense tool.
The General is a discontinued model from MKT. This one came to us from a collection. It is unused, and has never been carried or sharpened - only handled. The knife features a vulcanized D2 steel drop point blade, with a thick full titanium frame with a unique tiger striped flamed finish. Both the milled tip up mounted pocket clip and hardware are also titanium. There is also a hardened backspacer that can serve as a glass breaker. An engraved star highlights the presentation side of the frame. The knife has centered blade seating, solid lock-up, and an easy lock release.
The knife will come packaged in a Medford Knife and Tool hard shell plastic case with metal dog tag, Care and Maintenance sheet, and Greg Medford's card. It will be bubble wrapped, as well. The knife is in excellent, unused condition. This would make a great EDC.
