Mick Strider Custom XL SMF DGG Frame-Lock Folding Knife (SOLD)

This frame-lock Custom XL SMF DDG by Mick Strider features a black Cerakoted S30V blade with a Nightmare grid, dual thumbstuds, notched thumbrest on both the blade spine and top of the handle and Black Gunner Grip G-10 on the presentation side and Gunner Grip Blasted Titanium on the lock side.  The tip-up mounted pocket clip is also black Cerakote, and there is a full, solid black G-10 backspacer  that appears to be integral to the presentation side handle scale.  The knife is signed “M. Strider” in script and is dated ’07.  This knife is previously owned and has been used and carried.  I cannot say for sure if it has been sharpened or not, but my guess it that sometime during the last 16 years it was gently stropped or sharpened.  However, the blade edge is razor sharp.  As you can see in the photos, there are scratches on the blade.  The black Cerakote is not forgiving.  The same is true of the pocket clip.  The handle has held up nicely and shows little if any signs of age/use.  The blade has rock solid lock-up - no wobble or blade play in any direction.  The blade is not perfectly centered in the frame, which may have attributed to some of the scratches on the presentation side of the blade.  There is space between the blade and frame on the presentation side when closed (not touching or rubbing), but by putting lateral pressure on the blade when opening the knife likely moved it just enough to touch.  This knife would be a good candidate for a Strider Spa Treatment, or add it to your carry rotation and make it a user.  It comes in a padded zippered case.
