Mike Dilluvio was born in Detroit Michigan in 1960.  He has been making knives since 1989, and sold his first fixed blade hunting knife in 1991.  He has been making custom folders for over 15 years, and has customers worldwide.  He is a long time voting member of the Knifemakers Guild.  He does all his own work in his home shop.  He is a 20 year Journeyman Industrial Electrician by-day.  He started Mike's Custom Knives LLC in April of 2014.  For now, knifemaking is a hobby until hopefully, one day he can retire and make knives full time.  He guarantees all his work 100% and makes all of his knives one at a time.  He ensures complete satisfaction to the owner of one of his knives... whatever it takes.

If you would like to request a custom made knife from Mike with specific materials, please contact Windy City Knives.

This gorgeous Abalone liner lock folder is made from laminated Abalone shell material covered by a clear resin to protect it.  It features some outstanding Robert Eggerling Damascus for the blade, file-worked anodized titanium liners, 416 stainless bolsters, 416 stainless backspacer bar with file-work, and a cubic zurconia thumbstud preset in 18k white gold.  Mike signs his name inside the handle.
