Mike Williams, M.S. Hunting Knife, Rowe Leather Sheath (SOLD)

Mike Williams is a Mastersmith in the American Bladesmith Society (ABS).  This hunting knife features a forged 1084 carbon steel blade and a mortise constructed wood burl handle. Could be Amboyna burl, but I am uncertain.  The stainless steel single finger guard has a copper spacer, and the pins are stainless, as well.  There is some jimping on the blade spine near the guard, for enhanced feel and control.  Includes a Rowe Leather basketweave belt sheath with tooling and keeper strap.

The knife is previously owned and shows no signs of use, carry or resharpening.  It is in excellent condition.  There is a small “dark” area on the pile side of the blade that is barely visible.  You cannot feel it.  And the blade has some fine lines from insertion into the sheath.  This is the hunter that you wouldn’t hesitate to use.  Great feel and balance in-hand.
