Paul Mason Knives, Made in England, Lanny's Clip Slip-Joint Folding Knife

Paul Mason Knives, Made in England, Lanny's Clip Slip-Joint Folding Knife

Paul Mason was a full-time knifemaker from a tiny town in England named Andover.  He started making knives around 2013.  He mostly made slip-joints.  They were his passion.  Paul was self-taught, learning mainly from books and Internet searches.  Paul his since retired from knifemaking several years ago.  His knives are highly regarded, highly collectible and very hard to find in the secondary market.

This is Paul's Lanny's Clip slip-joint folder.  The knife features a RWL-34 stainless steel clip-point blade and Desert Ironwood scales.  The knife is of integral construction, with a fluted bolster.  The knife was made in early 2017, so this was built about 4 years after Paul started knifemaking.  It is serial number 066, per the COA.  It is excellent condition at over 9 years old.

The blade has a nicely cut nail nick, with a firm, even pull.  The blade locks up tight in the open position and sits centered between the liners when closed.

The Lanny's Clip comes in a padded, zippered case, along with the signed Certificate of Authenticity and Paul's presentation box.  This knife is previously owned and appears to be unused and unsharpened.  Nothing more than some faint, random handling and storage marks.

Condition:  Excellent.

                     Never used, carried or sharpened.
