This is David Beck's Model #BK112, The Bush Machete.  This knife is "one-of-a-kind".  There is no other.  It does not have David's maker's mark.  It is sterile.  The reason is that David originally made this knife with the intention of keeping it and using it himself.  David made the knife in August of 2016, and subsequently wound up selling it.  Fortunately, after 7 years, it found its way to us, and we are privileged to offer it for sale.  The 3/16" thick by 12+" long 5160 carbon steel blade was hand forged and differentially hardened/tempered, with full convex ground bevels, semi-polished finish and vertically tempered tang.  The hardwood handle is Bolivian Rosewood with black tang spacers.  There are three (3) 5/16" stainless steel Loveless bolt fasteners and a 5/16" stainless steel lined lanyard hole.  Includes a right hand black molded leather slip-fit style sheath with removable frog and two (2) lower brass grommets.

The knife is in the same original condition as when David made the knife in 2016.  Although there are some very fine sheath marks from insertion and removal, and couple of carbon spots on the spine.  They are not immediately visible, so you have to look for them.  In addition to the sheath, it will also come with a padded, zipper case.  The sheath looks brand new.  Also included is a COA from David R. Beck Knifesmith LLC.  It details the history of the knife, as well as includes a full description of the material construction.  The COA features color photos of the actual knife.
