This James Scroggs Squirrel Hunter is new, and comes direct from James' shop in Warrensburg, MO. James is an accomplished knifemaker, who made his first knife in 1985. He produces his own designs. He prefers to use high-end woods and materials for knife handles. This knife features a satin finished Nitro-V stainless steel blade. The handle scales are Tiger Stripe Maple that has been stained dark, secured with a Copper Corby Bolt and a Copper Lanyard Tube. There is file-work on both the top and bottom of the handle. The file-work is filled with black epoxy and highlighted with copper bits.
Included with the knife is a brown leather tooled belt sheath made by Kenny Rowe of Rowe's Leather. No case.
