This is a beautifully matched set of two (2) Kevin Hoffman knives - a Recurve Bowie and a Fighter. Both knives feature highly polished blades made from ATS-34 stainless steel, and handles made of seamless fossilized material. Each knife comes with a heavy duty leather belt sheath made by Kevin. Both sheaths have lighter colored exotic skin inlays - perhaps ostrich? The larger Bowie knife features a recurve blade with double lugged guard made of 416 SS, and a pommel and nut cap also made of stainless steel. The Fighting Knife has a drop point blade with double sided guard, and no pommel.
Both knives are marked "KLH" over a fixed blade knife on one side of the ricasso. The other side has an outline of the state of Florida. These markings date the knives to sometime between 1988 and 2004. They are both in mint condition. This is a rare set from Kevin. The fit and finish on these knives clearly reflects Kevin's keen eye and artistic background.
