Luke Swenson has been making knives for over 7 years. He has truly taken his knifemaking skills to the next level. He has become a master in his own right at making both slip-joint and lock-back folders.
This is one of Luke's double bladed Trappers. It features a clip point blade and a spey blade, both made from CPM 154, hollow ground and hand-rubbed to a 600 grit finish. The scales are highly figured premium stag, the front and rear bolsters are 416 stainless steel, as are the pins and bombshell shield. The liners are 410 stainless steel, and have been "jeweled". The backspring is CPM 154. Luke has added some very tasteful and simple file-work to accent all three (3) of the liners. This knife is Brand New and direct from Luke at the 2018 International Custom Cutlery Exposition. The blades have comfortable nail nicks, with a firm, smooth pull. The blades lock up tight with no
play, and the blade seating is perfectly centered between their respective liners. Both blades have half stops. Nice walk and talk. Comes in a padded zippered "Swenson Knives" case.
