Bill Ruple 3-Blade Natural Stag Large Stockman Slip-Joint Folding Knife (SOLD)

Bill Ruple 3-Blade Natural Stag Large Stockman Slip-Joint Folding Knife (SOLD)

Bill Ruple is a master at making slip joint folders.  He has taught and inspired so many knifemakers on how to make folding knives, that it's almost impossible to list them.  You have to hold one of Bill's knives to truly appreciate the fit and finish, and his attention to detail.  He has been making knives since 1988.  The quality of his knives has been consistent throughout his career.  No matter what show he attends, he always sells out - and quickly! This slip-joint, 3-blade large Stockman folding knife features a Clip Point blade with a long pull, and Sheepsfoot and Spey blades with nail nicks, all made from CPM-154 stainless steel. The front and rear bolsters are 416 stainless steel, as are the pins and liners (the outer liners are integral to the bolster).  The bolsters are fluted and there are shadow lines above and below.  The scales are two slabs of beautifully matched presentation grade Natural Stag.  There's an inlaid 416 stainless steel oval-shaped shield on the presentation side of the handle.  All the blades have half-stops, lock up tight with no blade play, and the blade seatings are all properly aligned.  This knife is previously owned and in excellent condition.  If you looked hard enough under magnification you might find a stray handling mark somewhere.  Great walk-and-talk from the master!  Comes in a Ruple padded, zippered case.
