Bob Dozier Large Folding Hunter, Fossil Scales, D2 Blade, DK-LFH
Bob Dozier Large Folding Hunter, Fossil Scales, D2 Blade, DK-LFH
This large Bob Dozier Folding Hunter, DK-LFH knife features full, polished, ancient-fossilized scales on both sides of the handle. The satin finished blade is made from Bob's signature D2 stainless steel. The drop point blade is dated 2005. It is obviously pre-owned and been in a one-owner collection for the past 17 years. The tip-down mounted titanium pocket clip is a rare feature to find on a natural handled Dozier Folding Hunter. There is also a lanyard hole. The titanium liners are very thick, and lock-up the blade vault tight, with no play in any direction. There is jimping on the slightly raised blade spine of the tang, giving excellent grip and control of the knife. And there is jimping on the liner, providing great feel when releasing the liner-lock. There is what I believe to be a full white G10 backspacer. The blade is well-seated between the liners, very slightly favoring the clip side. The knife is in excellent to mint, unused condition. It has never been carried or sharpened. It will come in a padded zippered case. This would make a great addition to any collection. Although it could just as easily be a great EDC. Bob's folders are becoming increasingly more difficult to find.
