Bob Lum Custom Small Chinese Folder, Green Micarta, Liner-Lock, Spyderco Hole (SOLD)

Bob Lum Custom Small Chinese Folder, Green Micarta, Liner-Lock, Spyderco Hole (SOLD)

From Bob Lum's website... Knifemaker and designer Bob Lum passed away on December 4, 2007, at age 64. As the artist and maker that began the 'tanto' style knife from antique versions from Japan, he will be remembered as a considerate, kind and wonderful friend in the knifemaking world, besides being an excellent craftsman and designer. For those of you who had the opportunity to have met Bob in-person, consider yourselves fortunate.  Bob was a classic and is deeply missed by the knife community.  Bob was known for his outstanding knife designs, excellent materials, and attention to detail.  His fit-and-finish was second to none.

This small Chinese Folder features a hand rubbed, satin finished flat ground stainless steel blade and Green Micarta scales.  The blade has a "Spyderco hole" for easy one-hand opening and titanium liners.  The large titanium pocket clip set for tip-down carry.  There is a full, radiused, black Micarta backspacer and a domed pivot pin, both signature features of many of Bob's knives.  The blade locks up tight with no blade play.  The blade slightly favors the presentation side when closed.

The knife is previously owned and in great condition.  There are some shallow rubs on the pocket clip, and the blade has some random shallow fine scratches from age/storage.  I don't think it has been used or resharpened, but it is not "new".  It has been handled and carried, so you can too!  Comes in a padded, hook-and-loop Bill's Custom Case.

Condition:  Previously owned.  Very good.
