David Sharp San Mai Damascus Frame Horn Flipper, Zirconium Highlights, Frame-Lock Folding Knife

David Sharp San Mai Damascus Frame Horn Flipper, Zirconium Highlights, Frame-Lock Folding Knife

David Sharp is the creative mind behind Sharpwerks, a custom knifemaker since 2010, David won best new maker at the Blade Show in 2013.  This Frame Horn Flipper by David features a San Mai Damascus recurve blade with false top edge and flipper tab.  The handle has a thick bead blasted (orange peel finish) titanium frame with a Zirconium pivot collar and backspacer.  The knife also features a bead blasted titanium tip-up mounted pocket clip.  This is a substantial knife in-hand.  The knife weighs in at a comfortable 6.7 ounces.

The knife has a nice detent, tight lock-up and good blade seating, slightly favoring side B.  It has not been used or sharpened.  I'm guessing that it has been carried at some time in its lifetime.  There are no blemishes, scratches or marks on the blade.  The titanium handle does have a faint surface scratch on the back end of side A, but I could not catch it in the photos.   It is that light.  Overall, it is in excellent condition.  It will come in a generic padded, zippered case.  No paperwork.  A great EDC or add it to your collection.

Condition: Previously owned. Excellent.
