In July 1969, the Apollo 11 received a go for Translunar Injection, or the mission control okay to head for the moon. Not too long after, two Americans stepped outside the lunar module Eagle and planted the first human feet on the moon. The whole mission lasted eight days, three hours, eighteen minutes and thirty-five seconds (08-03-18-35). This sequence of numbers is stamped on the handle of the knife on the lock bar side, along with a footprint to memorialize the moon walk. The small Sebenza 21 CGG Lunar Landing with Chrysocolla cabochon inlay was designed and created to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of this monumental mission. The birth card of the knife being, June 13, 2019. The knife features a stonewashed drop point CPM S35VN stainless steel blade and a full titanium CGG frame-lock handle, the presentation side with the graphic and Chrysocolla inlay being satin polished. The knife has Chris' strong Integral Locking Mechanism, and a removable titanium pocket clip set for tip-up carry. There is a single lug, gold colored thumb stud for right hand opening, as well. This knife is previously owned, and in new condition. Smooth opening, solid lock-up, centered blade and no lock stick. The knife comes in the original box, with Think Twice - Cut Once leather slip sheath, polishing cloth, CRK lube, adjustment tool, Guarantee card, as well as the Registration card and original paperwork.
