Chris Taylor Vintage Westinghouse Micarta Nessmuk Slip-Joint Folding Knife

Chris Taylor is the creative and talented craftsman behind Taylor Made Knives in Northwest Arkansas.  Chris makes both folding and fixed blade knives.  You can find his knives featured and shared on both his Facebook and Instagram pages.  He has a loyal following on social media, and an extensive group of collectors.  His knives have become highly desirable to own.  His fit, finish, selection of materials, appearance and design, are all top shelf.  He is definitely a "one to watch" knifemaker.

This Nessmuk slip-joint folding knife is brand new, and just recently came in, direct from Chris.  This Nessie folder features a hand sanded, hollow ground AEB-L stainless steel blade with a hand rubbed satin finish and cryogenically treated to a Rockwell hardness of 62 RC.  The handle is Vintage Westinghouse Canvas Micarta.  These scales are a beautiful two-tone brown color.  The hardware, liners and Federal shield are all titanium.  The backspring is stainless steel.  There's even a bronze lined lanyard tube.  The blade has a half stop, locks up tight when opened and the blade seating is centered when closed.  There is no nail nick, but you don't need one.  There is plenty of blade to pinch.  Nice walk and talk.  Comes in a Taylor Made Knives padded, zippered storage case, along with a signed COA.
