Enrique Peña Custom Lanny's Clip Slip-Joint Folding Knife, Bourbon Micarta (SOLD)

Enrique Peña Custom Lanny's Clip Slip-Joint Folding Knife, Bourbon Micarta (SOLD)

Enrique Peña has been making knives since 2006.  He began his career strictly making traditional style folders.  He was another one of Bill Ruple's students.  Now he makes both traditional knife patterns, as well as more tactical-style folders.  His knives have gained a lot of traction among collectors and have become highly desirable.  His precise fit, finish, selection of materials, appearance and design, are what defines his custom handmade knives.  Enrique is extremely skilled at his craft, and the action, ergonomics, fit and finish of his work are absolutely top shelf.

This is Enrique's Lanny's Clip, a pattern conceptualized and originally built by Tony Bose.  The clip point blade is CPM 154 stainless steel with a hand rubbed satin finish.  The backspring is also made from CPM 154.  The blade features a half-stop and is tight in all positions. The blade opens smoothly with the ample nail nick.  The bolster with integral liners, domed pivot pin and Federal Shield are all 416 stainless.  The handle scales are deep rich Bourbon colored Micarta, that will develop a beautiful patina with time and handling.  This is one of Enrique classic designs.  Clearly one of his more desirable builds that exhibits the fit, finish and workmanship he is known for.  This knife is previously owned.  It comes from the original one owner collection and is in new condition. Nice walk and talk!  Comes in a Peña padded, zippered case.

Condition:  Previously owned. Excellent.
