Ernie Emerson COMANCHERO Prototype, Stablilized Wood Scales, Blade Show 2025 (SOLD)
Ernie Emerson COMANCHERO Prototype, Stablilized Wood Scales, Blade Show 2025 (SOLD)
Emerson Knives introduced the Comanchero just before the 2025 Blade Show. Per the Emerson website, "Born of frontier grit and forged in the spirit of the American Southwest, the Comanchero carries the legacy of those who traded, fought, and survived on the edge of civilization."
"The Emerson Comanchero knife has the flavor of the knives that would have been a brisk, necessary part of the trade goods sought after by the Indian hunters and warriors. Having hints of Spanish influence and Native American hard-use practicality, the Comanchero knife would have fetched a pretty penny had it been available in the days of the Comanchero traders of the wild American Southwest."
This custom Comanchero is new from the Emerson Lottery at the 2025 Blade Show. It features a hand-ground, satin finished blade with a Bowie-shaped blade, stabilized wood handles, titanium liners and two (2) stainless steel standoffs as the backspacer. The pocket clip is stainless and set for tip up carry, and it features a thumbdisc and screw pivot and pins. The blade is marked "Emerson Specwar Knives" and "PROTOTYPE" below the thumbdisc. The blade opens smoothly, locks up tight and sits centers in the liners.
Comes in the pictured Emerson Knives box with plastic bag.
