Whether it be my original design, or a reproduction from old Sheffield, England, I strive to make each knife it's own work of art that is not only beautiful, but functionally precise. I strive for the best, and that is all I can hope to put out there. In the summer of 2019 I was honored with the "Best New Maker" award at the Blade Show. In October of 2022 I was awarded "Best Custom Slip Joint" at Blade Show West. In March of 2023 I was awarded "Best Custom Slip Joint" and "Best in Show Custom Knife" at Blade Show Texas." Evan was recently honored with the Best Of Show and Best EDC awards at Blade Show Texas 2024. And at Blade Show 2024, Evan was honored with the Best Of Show and Best Folder Awards.
This is Evan's custom STINGRAY model, a gent's slip-joint folding knife. This Stingray features a hand rubbed CPM 20CV stainless steel modified Sheepsfoot blade and Vintage brown G3 Micarta scales. The spring is also stainless 20CV. The liners have been jeweled with a honeycomb pattern and there's a fancy 3-spoke star-shaped pivot pin. Evan's also stamped the date (12.06.2023) and blade/spring steel (CPM 20CV) inside the spring. The blade opens easily and smoothly with the well placed and ample nail nick, has a half stop and sits centered between the liners. Comes with everything seen in the last photo. Nice walk and talk. A great everyday carry or add it to your collection.
