Kevin Hoffman KLH "The Cobra" Friction Folder, Kukri Blade, Pocket Clip (SOLD)
Kevin Hoffman KLH "The Cobra" Friction Folder, Kukri Blade, Pocket Clip (SOLD)
Kevin calls this large friction folder The Cobra. It is brand new and direct from Kevin's shop in Savannah, GA. The handle is black canvas micarta. This knife sports an over-sized titanium cobra pocket clip. The very cool looking kukri-shaped blade is made from ATS-34 stainless steel, beautifully satin finished. Kevin's grinds are outstanding. The pivot screw and pins are all stainless steel. There is a red linen micarta butt spacer with Kevin's KLH - GA maker's mark engraved in it. He has also accented both sides of the rear of the handle with a mosaic pin. The blade opens smoothly - use the finger lever to get it started. The blade has just the right amount of friction tension when opening. Kevin sets them snug, although the tension is adjustable with the pivot screw. Once fully opened, this knife has a great look and feel with that aggressive blade shape. When the blade is closed, it sits nicely centered between the handle. Kevin's fit and finish are a testament to has art background and attention to detail. Comes in one of Kevin's signature denim pouches. This is an awesome piece!
