David Kramp 2-Blade FORAGER JACK European Red Stag Slip-Joint Folding Knife (SOLD)
David Kramp 2-Blade FORAGER JACK European Red Stag Slip-Joint Folding Knife (SOLD)
David Kramp currently resides in California. His exposure to traditional slip-joint pocket knives started at an early age growing up in Oklahoma. David's father, Ed Kramp was a slip-joint knifemaker back in the early 1990's. It was only natural that David built his first slip-joint folding knife - a Barlow - in April 2021. David gives credit to not only his Dad, but Tony Bose and Jared Oeser, as well. David's current passion is multi-blade folders. He likes working with vintage micartas, stag, mammoth, ivory and various woods.
This outstanding build is David's 2-blade Forager Jack slip-joint folder. To-date, David has only made three (3) of this model, and this one is No. 2. It features two (2) hand rubbed, satin finished AEB-L Cryo-treated 62.5 HRC stainless steel blades, European Red Stag scales and 416 stainless steel bolster, pins and pinned Acorn shield.
This knife comes to Windy City Knives from the original owner, after a thorough "fluff and buff" from David. It is in new condition. Both blades have well cut, comfortable nail nicks, with firm, smooth pulls. Both blades have half stops. The blades lock up tight with no play, and the blade seating is centered. Comes in a padded zippered case with David's Certificate of Authenticity.
