Luke Swenson has been making knives for over 9 years. He has truly taken his knifemaking skills to the next level. He has become a master in his own right at making slip-joint and lock-back folders. This Swenson lock-back folding knife is a real stunner. It features a Feather Damascus clip point blade, with a dark acid etched finish. The Feather Damascus was made by Master Smith Bill Burke. The file-worked liners, bolster, lanyard tube and pins are all 416 stainless steel. The lock spring is CPM-154 stainless, and Luke has jeweled the lock release. And there is a Damascus inlaid gimp shield. The scales are gorgeous. Luke has used some outstanding natural stag, with rich color and texture - much more impressive in-hand. The blade has a long, comfortable nail nick, with a smooth pull. The blade locks up tight with no play, and the blade seating is centered. No half stop (obviously). Nice walk and talk. Comes in a padded, zippered Swenson Knives case.
