Luke Swenson Random Jigged Bone Tail-Lock Folding Knife (SOLD)

Luke Swenson Random Jigged Bone Tail-Lock Folding Knife (SOLD)

Luke Swenson has been making knives for over 10 years.  He has truly taken his knifemaking skills to the next level.  He has become a master in his own right at making slip-joint and lock-back folders. Luke really outdid himself with this Tail-Lock folding knife.  It is new and direct from Luke's shop in Idaho.  It features a CPM-154 stainless steel hollow ground drop point blade, hand-rubbed to a 600 grit satin finish.  The spring and lockbar are also CPM 154, hand-rubbed to the same 600 grit finish.  The liners are integral to the bolster, both being made from 416 stainless steel.  The liners are mill relieved and jeweled.  The handle is two nicely paired random jigged bone scales, with a lot of figure, color and texture, with a 416 SS Federal shield on the presentation side.  Nice comfortable nail nick, with a smooth pull.  This pattern features Luke's new integrated stop pin modification, which makes it impossible for the blade edge to contact the spring or the spacer when it drops shut.  The blade locks up tight with no play, and the blade seating is perfectly centered.  No half stop (obviously).  Nice walk and talk.  Comes in a padded, zippered Swenson Knives case.
