This is the most recent Wilson Combat Custom Alliance, #45, done with master bladesmith Peter Carey. This is Peter's Deluxe Nitro model. Only 10 knives were made, and this knife is #6. This knife is brand new, just received. Included with the knife are a Wilson Combat padded zippered case, a Wilson Combat folder with a Certificate of Authenticity signed and dated by Ryan Wilson, and Peter Carey's signed Authenticity business card. Peter dated the card when the knife was completed, 11-9-18, and Ryan signed the COA with the sold date, 12/26/18. This liner-lock NITRO flipper features a 6AL-4V titanium frame and liners with orange peel texturing, CPM154 stainless steel blade, Moire Timascus bolster, carbon fiber scales, Timascus pocket clip, saw blade pivot, and a carbon fiber Dragon Spine backspacer. The blade flips on caged bearings - Carey perfection! The detent is spot-on, the blade locks-up vault tight, and it is seated dead center when closed.
