Ralph Turnbull Damascus Lock-Back Folding Knife, Fossilized Scales
Ralph Turnbull Damascus Lock-Back Folding Knife, Fossilized Scales
Ralph Turnbull has been a member of the Knifemakers Guild since 1978. His knives are works of art. Ralph makes knives from only the finest materials and construction. Hold one of his knives and you will feel the quality, and readily see the fit and finish he is known for. This knife is one of Ralph Turnbull's classic gentleman's lock-back folding knives. It opens with a nail nick that hides in the Damascus pattern. It is stamped with his maker's mark RT, on the blade ricasso. This knife features two beautifully matched scales of fossilized material, what appears to be a two-pattern Damascus blade, a different patterned Damascus bolster, titanium liners, and file-work running the entire length of the Damascus backspring. The blade locks open and closes with a loud snap. It sits centered between the liners. There is a hint of lateral play. This knife has it all - tastefully done, and beautifully executed. Comes in a R. A. Turnbull padded zippered case.
