Richard Rogers WHARNCLIFFE, Black Timascus Inlays, Zirconium Backspacer (SOLD)
From Richard Rogers' website..."
I live on a working cattle ranch in New Mexico. Though I would never be considered a typical cowboy! My wife, Sally, and I have one grown son, a daughter-in-law, and as of last year, a grandson.
I have been making knives since 1996. I've made a wide variety of styles.I originally started with hunting knives, then moved on to slipjoints. My latest direction has been toward liner lock and double detent folders.
I try to design knives with clean lines. I like knives that are slim and light, something that you can carry without noticing it until you need to cut something. I am constantly refining existing designs, and trying new things.
I strive for excellence in my work. Every knife should work and cut well. My goal, with every knife I make, is to make it the best example of what that knife should be. This also carries over to the EDC gear.
I have won over 50 awards during my career, including two “Best of Show” at the Blade Show in Atlanta."
This flipper, frame-lock WHARNCLIFFE is new from Richard at Blade Show 2025. It features an AEBL stainless steel blade, titanium frame with Black Timascus inlays, polished Zirconium Backspacer and hidden hardware pocket clip set for tip-up carry. Richard's mark is inside the frame (pictured).
It flips fast and with authority, locks up tight, perfectly centered and no lock-stick. It comes in a snap denim pouch (pictured) made by Sally Rogers from recycled ranch jeans. Also includes Richard's signed COA.
