The HIGO is Rockstead's mid-sized, frame-lock folder Rockstead makes some of the highest quality knives in the world. They command a premium price due to their high-end materials and superior construction. The HIGO features a hard anodized, black coated A7075 aluminum (Duralumin) frame, with but two screws, for easy disassembly and cleaning. The blade is made from YXR7 steel, with a highly polished DLC coated finish (you will see reflections in some of the photos). This is no small feat. The blade goes through a multi-step process of hand finishing, using wet-dry sandpaper from 400 to 2000 grit. A process that Rockstead has perfected. The blade is incredibly sharp. The tip-up mounted pocket clip and hardware have the same black finish. The spring is also A7075 Duralumin. The blade opens smooth as silk, locks up vault tight, sits perfectly centered between the liners, and releases easily. The knife is previously owned, and in as new, mint condition. Includes the Rockstead wooden presentation box with outer cardboard sleeve, Spec Sheet, Warranty / Care card and Rockstead tool.
