Toby Hill Two-Blade Remington 1123 Bullet Trapper Slip-Joint Folding Knife
Toby Hill Two-Blade Remington 1123 Bullet Trapper Slip-Joint Folding Knife
Toby Hill has now been making knives for more than 5 years. His knives do not reflect the relatively short time he has been at it. They have become increasingly more refined, with a higher level of attention to detail and functionality. They are the work of a much more seasoned slip-joint and lock-back knifemaker. No wonder, Toby learned to make knives from none other than Bill Ruple, a master at making traditional patterned folders. Toby's work is clean, and he has a great eye. Toby has definitely become an accomplished knifemaker in his own right. This knife is Brand New and direct from Toby's table at the 2021 Blade Show. This two-blade Remington 1123 Bullet Trapper features a CPM-154 stainless steel Drop Point blade and a Spey blade, and beautifully matched reddish dyed jigged bone scales with an inlaid 416 stainless steel Remington Bullet shield on the presentation side. The bolster is 416 stainless steel, as are the pins, lined lanyard hole and liners. There is a braided leather lanyard attached. Both blades have half-stops, lock up tight with no play, and each blade is seated centered between their respective liners. Nice comfortable nicks, with smooth, even pulls. Nice walk-and-talk from the student of the master. Comes in a Hill Knives padded, zippered case.
