Todd Begg 25-Year-Old Custom Glimpse Pre-IKBS, Liner-Lock Flipper
Todd Begg 25-Year-Old Custom Glimpse Pre-IKBS, Liner-Lock Flipper
This is a very early custom Todd Begg Glimpse. I have personally shown this knife to Todd. He told me that this knife is one of the first Glimpse models he ever made. It is at least 25 years old and in excellent to near mint condition. Todd described the knife as "a part of my knifemaking history". It is a liner-lock, pre-IKBS flipper that does require some wrist action to open. The compound ground stainless steel blade is unused with a light etch of "TODD BEGG USA" on the presentation side. The handle scales look like there's a narrow Micarta "border", with a large carbon fiber inlay. The backspacer also appears to be Micarta. And there's what appears to be a Micarta pivot collar. The pocket clip could be titanium. It does have some very light scuffs. This is the only indication that the knife is previously owned and may have seen a pocket. It is set for tip up carry. The blade locks up vault tight and the blade sits centered between the liners closed. Own a piece of Todd's knifemaking history. Even 25 years ago Todd was a perfectionist. For either the serious collector, or a great EDC. It comes in a padded, zippered case.
